This metal bed frame can be used with innerspring conventional mattresses, air beds and softside waterbeds. Our metal bed frames are constructed of a heavy-guage of steel and have additional support legs to support the weight of a waterbed. The headboard attachment is part of the metal bed frame. When ordering decide whether you will ever use a footboard with your bed, if so, be sure to order with the footboard adapter as this can NOT be added later.
